Infrastructure Sr. Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure operations across Windows, Linux, Storage, and Backup domains. This role demands strong technical expertise in AWS, Azure, Windows Server Administration, Linux, Automation, and Scripting, combined with proven leadership skills. The candidate will act as a technical mentor, drive operational excellence, and enable the team to become self-sufficient in decision-making and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers across Windows, Linux, Storage, and Backup technologies.
  • Develop technical capabilities within the team and foster independent decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Oversight & Escalation Management
  • Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in system administration, automation, and cloud operations.
  • Provide guidance on architecture, design, and optimization of infrastructure solutions.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Management
  • Oversee Windows Server and Linux environments ensuring stability and security.
  • Manage enterprise storage and backup solutions for high availability and compliance.
  • Design and implement cloud solutions on AWS and Azure with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.
• Automation & Process Optimization
  • Drive automation initiatives using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Streamline operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Governance & Reporting
  • Monitor infrastructure health and implement proactive measures.
  • Prepare executive-level reports on system performance, incidents, and team KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in:
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
  • Storage & Backup Solutions
  • Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Proven ability to lead large technical teams and manage complex infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL Intermediate or Expert
