The Role

We're looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us build robust data extraction pipelines, analytics platforms, and cloud-native applications that power our legal tech infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop high-performance web scraping solutions using modern frameworks (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium)
  • Build and maintain Python applications for data processing, automation, and business intelligence
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), including containerization, serverless functions, and automated deployments
  • Develop analytics dashboards and reporting systems to derive actionable insights from large datasets
  • Integrate scraped data with our existing microservices architecture
  • Optimize scraping workflows for reliability, speed, and compliance with rate limiting and anti-bot measures
  • Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for data storage and retrieval

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
  • Strong expertise in web scraping frameworks (Scrapy, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) - deployment, EC2/Lambda, S3, monitoring
  • Proficiency in data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools (Plotly, Matplotlib)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for effective DOM manipulation
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices

Good to Have

  • Experience with async Python (asyncio, aiohttp)
  • Knowledge of proxy management and anti-detection techniques
  • Background in legal tech, fintech, or B2B SaaS
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL pipelines
  • Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot ecosystem
