About the Role :

We are seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and scale our conversational voice and chatbot platform leveraging the latest advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs), speech technologies, and AI tools such as OpenAIs speech-to-speech models, ElevenLabs, Twilio, and AWS AI services.

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will contribute to the end-to-end AI strategyfrom model design and fine-tuning to deployment and performance optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding engineering, product, and DevOpsto architect, implement, and scale AI-driven systems that deliver natural and contextually accurate human-computer interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement LLM-based AI models to power conversational platforms.

- Architect and integrate voice APIs and communication platforms (e.g., Twilio, Exotel, ElevenLabs) for seamless speech workflows and call automation.

- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to improve context awareness, response relevance, and model performance.

- Develop and deploy speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) components to enhance multimodal conversational experiences.

- Manage the end-to-end AI model lifecycle including data preprocessing, training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production deployment.

- Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Establish MLOps best practices, ensuring continuous integration, model versioning, performance tracking, and scalability.

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

- Stay current with GenAI trends, LLM research, and speech technology advancements, and proactively adopt emerging tools and methodologies.

- Contribute to technical documentation, experimentation, and model improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLMs, and Conversational AI.

- Proven expertise in fine-tuning and deploying large language models such as GPT, OpenAI models, or BERT.

- Strong understanding of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speech-to-Text, and Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems.

- Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).

- Experience in cloud-based AI model deployment (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML).

- Hands-on experience with vector databases, RAG techniques, and real-time inference pipelines.

- Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices for CI/CD, model tracking, and automation.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Experience working in AI/ML-focused teams or projects involving production-level deployments.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with speech synthesis models and voice cloning technologies.

- Exposure to OpenAI API, Anthropic, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar ecosystems.

- Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and security frameworks in AI systems.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless architectures for AI deployments.
