Solidworks Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Designer to join our team for designing and developing agricultural machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical design, 3D modeling, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop agricultural machines and components using SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Work closely with the R&D and production teams for design improvements.
• Perform simulations and analysis to ensure design strength and performance.
• Create BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs are optimized for fabrication and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, sheet metal, weldments, assemblies).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Experience with agricultural machinery design (preferred).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes like fabrication, welding, machining, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in machine design (agri machinery experience is an advantage).
