Job Description:

Experience required: 5+ years

Position: UI Developer (jQuery, HTML, CSS, Accessibility)

Job Duties:

  • Competent to perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision.
  • Works independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems.
  • Drives application development focused around delivering business valuable features.
  • Maintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Identifies and encourages areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • Communicates with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.
  • Performs integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.
  • Manages the completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years or more of software development experience.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Good understanding of NodeJS and SASS.
  • Experience working with Accessibility guidelines and defect resolution.
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Using responsive design to ensure satisfactory accuracy and compliance across mobile and desktop browsers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in some of the following:
  • Experience with Gulp and Grunt.
  • Experience in more than one Content Management System.
