Vicarious Surgical is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team in Bangalore, India. This individual will be employed by a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), but doing work specifically for Vicarious Surgical. As a CAD drafter, you will create parts, assemblies, and drawings in Solidworks. You will be responsible for uploading all the CAD files into PDM. Additionally, you will help prepare DCOs (Document Change Orders) so that the CAD files can be reviewed, approved and released.

You will be working from our Bangalore Office with our mechanical, manufacturing, and electrical engineering team.

Working hours of Monday through Friday ( Office hours start at 4PM to ensure significant overlap with US hours)

Vicarious Surgical is a US based next generation robotics company developing a disruptive technology with the goal of increasing the efficiency of surgical procedure, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Part modeling in Solidworks.
  • Assembly modeling in Solidworks.
  • BoM creation on assembly drawings.
  • Specification sheet preparation.
  • Drawing creation in Solidworks.
  • Cable drawing creation in Solidworks.
