Key Accountabilities:

  • Will be responsible for the detailed design, drafting, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, boilers, and other non-moving equipment in industrial plants.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and design documents for static equipment based on project specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all drawings are clear, precise and comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, EN, and ASTM).
  • Create detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Develop 3D models of equipment using CAD software (e.g., Inventor/SolidWorks/Catia, AutoCAD).
  • Support the project leader in ensuring the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • The role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor/SolidWorks/Catia, AutoCAD etc.) and 3D modelling.
  • Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, EN, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with static equipment design and detailing.
