Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include:

  • Route planning and scheduling optimization focusing on the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP).

  • A comparative analysis of the proposed optimized routes versus the current routes.
  • A report detailing the potential savings in fuel and time.
  • A tool or script that automates the route-planning process.
  • Delivery process improvement and technology integration

Key Deliverables:

  • Process improvement plan targeting specific weaknesses in the delivery workflow.
  • Report on the potential benefits of integrating specific technologies.
  • Prototype of a driver app or a dashboard for tracking delivery metrics.
