IT Support

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.)
• Perform routine maintenance and updates of operating systems and software
• Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity, and firewall systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, connectivity, and user access
• Maintain and back up company data regularly; support disaster recovery procedures
• Ensure IT security protocols are followed, including antivirus, firewall, and patch management
• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, or service escalations
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring proper hardware and software provisioning

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Good knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, MS Office, and common enterprise software
• Familiarity with network configurations (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, etc.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
