Officer IT

Role & responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Ubuntu) and standard applications
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems in person, remotely, or via phone/email
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory
• Set up and maintain workstations, including imaging and deployment
• Support video conferencing systems and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and update documentation regularly
• Collaborate with other IT teams for escalated issues and project deployments
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
• Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi issues)
• Monitor and report network performance and connectivity issues
• Support configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls under supervision
• Maintain IP address documentation and assist with DHCP/DNS configurations
• Collaborate with network administrators on escalated issues and infrastructure upgrades
