Contract ServiceNow Developer

Role Type: Contract Location: (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Developer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, a passion for solving complex business problems through technology, and the ability to work independently or as part of a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and custom applications.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and integrations to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and performance of all developed solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for existing ServiceNow applications.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong portfolio of implemented solutions.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and custom application development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
  • Strong understanding of web services, including REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and manage ServiceNow workflows, forms, and UI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules like GRC, SecOps, or PPM.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization on the ServiceNow platform.

Contract Duration: 6 months, 12 months

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹32, ₹65,000.00 per month
