Role Overview

We're looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor & Graphic Designer who can help us build visually engaging content for our social media platforms, website, and ad campaigns.

You'll collaborate directly with the founder and marketing team to produce consistent, high-quality videos and graphics that represent our brand and connect with the Desi community.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (Reels/Shorts format).

Create banners, posters, and sponsored ad designs for the website and social media.

Design visual content for local businesses and promotional campaigns.

Add captions, intros, and outros; create AI voiceover-based videos in Punjabi and English.

Recreate trending or local South Asian news stories into brand-style videos (with credits).

Manage mascot (Gabhru) videos, plaza footage, and "Did You Know?" city content.

Organize and upload all projects via shared Google Drive folders.

Maintain brand consistency (colors, typography, and visual tone).

Required Skills & Tools

Must have own laptop and editing/design software.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Familiarity with Canva or Illustrator for static content design.

Basic understanding of AI tools (for subtitles, voiceovers, or motion templates).

Creative eye for color, timing, and storytelling.

Must have 1-3 Years of Experience.

Work Hours

Flexible remote position.

Expected 8 hours of active work per day, Monday to Saturday.

Must be available for content review during evening hours (Canada time overlap).

Compensation

Starting salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month based on experience.

Performance review and salary adjustment after 6 months.

Contract & Ownership

Hired as an independent contractor under Alberta (Canada) laws.

All videos, designs, and creative material produced will remain the intellectual property of Pardes Pages Media Inc.

Either party may terminate the contract with 15 days' written notice.
