Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable.
Track inventory levels, monitor costs, and report variances.
Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable process including invoicing, deposit processing, and collections follow-up.
Candidate will be preferred if he has knowledge of E-commerce and Modern Trade accounting.
Manage the Accounts Payable process, including processing vendor bills, ensuring compliance with policies, and resolving vendor inquiries.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure efficient cost management.
Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts department.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements (P&L) and cash flow statements.
Assist with payroll processing, including calculation of salaries, taxes, and benefits.
Ensure timely disbursement of employee payments and compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations ensuring the accuracy of cash reporting.
Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS) in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Salary Range: 35k to 50k per month, depending on experience.
