Yamaha Motor Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Spanish Translator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating a variety of documents, including technical manuals, marketing materials, and internal communications from Spanish to English and vice versa. The candidate should possess excellent language skills, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and the ability to convey the original message accurately while maintaining context.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Translate written material from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish.

- Review and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Collaborate with various departments to understand context and intended message.

- Maintain a translation memory and glossaries for consistent terminology.

- Participate in team meetings to stay informed about ongoing projects and priorities.

- Ensure compliance with company standards and deadlines in all translations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary.

- Previous experience in translation, preferably in a corporate or technical environment.

- Familiarity with translation software and tools.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of Yamaha products and motorcycle terminology is a plus.

Tools Required:

- Translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Online resources for language reference and research.

- Project management tools to track assignments and deadlines.
