Role Description

This is a paid internship role for a
Content Writer Intern

. The role is on-site and located in Bengaluru. The primary responsibilities include researching industry-related topics, writing and editing content for blogs, websites, reports and social media, and ensuring content aligns with brand tone and objectives. The intern will also collaborate with the marketing and design teams to deliver engaging and impactful content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Development

  • Research and write blogs, articles, reports, white papers, case studies, and website content.
  • Create engaging posts for social media platforms.
  • Develop SEO-friendly content to improve visibility and reach.

Content Editing & Proofreading

  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct and plagiarism-free.
  • Optimize content structure for readability and engagement.

Content Strategy & Research

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
  • Support in creating content calendars and publishing schedules.
  • Provide insights to improve content marketing strategies.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers and marketing teams to create visual and written content.
  • Collaborate with SEO and digital marketing teams for optimized reach.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and creative ideas.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain a content repository for easy reference and reuse.
  • Track and report performance of published content.
  • Prepare presentations or summaries of content outcomes and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent command over English (grammar, vocabulary, and tone).
  • Ability to research and simplify complex topics into reader friendly content.
  • Knowledge in the field of emerging technologies
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual.
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree or coursework in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
