About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCP Architect to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving our GCP practice growth, encompassing both technical delivery and presales activities. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform architecture, design, and implementation, coupled with a proven track record in client engagement and solution development. You will be responsible for designing and delivering robust cloud solutions, while also playing a key role in pre-sales efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.

Responsibilities:

Technical Delivery:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective GCP architectures.
• Lead the delivery of complex GCP projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GCP deployments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for GCP deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Work with Google Cloud SQL to handle the user data/ client data.
• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation processes using tools like Apache Beam and Apache Spark.
• Create and manage data storage solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.

Presales:

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored GCP solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals, including solution architectures, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Perform technical assessments and develop migration strategies.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create detailed technical responses.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum [Number] years of experience in GCP architecture and implementation.
• Proven experience in presales activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
• Strong understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and networking.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in GCP.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
• Experience with Cloud migration strategies and execution.
• Experience with cost optimization in GCP environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Experience with AI/ML solutions on GCP.
• Experience with serverless architecture.
