We are looking for a
Backend Developer
with strong expertise in
Python, Flask, REST APIs, and microservices
. This role involves building scalable backend services while leveraging
AI-driven development tools
to boost productivity. Basic
frontend exposure (React/NextJS)
is preferred to ensure smooth end-to-end integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    backend services and RESTful APIs
    for scalable microservices.
  • Write
    clean, testable Python code
    using Flask.
  • Build and optimize
    scalable microservices and data models
    with relational & NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with
    cross-functional teams
    (product, design, frontend) to deliver features.
  • Use
    observability tools
    (logs, metrics, traces) for debugging and performance optimization.
  • Leverage
    AI-driven development tools
    (Cursor AI, Copilot, Gemini, Codex, Windsurf) for coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Participate in
    code reviews
    and drive engineering best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    and
    Flask
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL
    .
  • Experience with
    REST APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL/MySQL/DynamoDB/MongoDB
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AI prompting
    for code generation & debugging.
  • Exposure to at least one
    AI tool
    (Cursor AI, Copilot, Codex, Gemini, Windsurf).
  • Version control (
    Git
    ) and
    CI/CD workflows
    experience.
  • Clear communication & agile collaboration mindset.

Nice-to-Have / Frontend Exposure:

  • Contribute to UI development with JavaScript (React/NextJS).
  • Understand frontend-backend integration (API consumption, state management).
  • Debug full-stack issues from browser to database.
