Job Title: Graphic Designer – Personal Care & Beauty Brand

Experience Required: 2-5Years | 5days Working

Location: Gurgaon, Sector 30 | Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

As a graphic designer you will use your artistic abilities to create digital assets for Typsy Beauty such as social media posts & stories, Meta Ads creatives, whatsapp creatives, website banners and design elements, emailers, marketplace PDPs, and short videos. In addition, you will also design collaterals for print mediums such as packaging layouts, PR Boxes, leaflets and cards, ad layouts, invitations and more. Finally, you will be responsible for learning and garnering a strong supplier base of printers to execute print jobs at the most cost effective rates. You will work cross-functionally with various teams including Product Development, Marketing, Marketplaces and Offline Sales.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Studying social media concepts and trends to stay up to date of the latest in graphics
  • Being aware of competition brands and their graphic styles for social media
  • Understanding and designing layouts for organic vs paid media use
  • Designing and HTMLisation of mailers
  • Video & GIF creation
  • Creating illustrated concepts of certain themes as per the company's requirements
  • Being aware the company's products and understanding the best way to illustrate the products, and their uses, benefits, USPs to consumers across digital and print formats
  • Strictly adhering the brand guidelines of the company
  • Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers as necessary.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
  • Ability to deliver work in a timely manner through appropriate prioritization of open tasks

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills including motion video graphics with a strong portfolio.
  • A strong eye for visual composition.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Experience with computer-aided design.
  • Should be able to adapt to start-up environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and 2-5 years of experience in similar field; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Preferably from digital/creative/marketing agency or beauty/fashion industry
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma & Video Editing programs is a MUST
