Role Summary:

The Medical Officer – Acupuncture will be responsible for providing acupuncture-based therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols and individualized patient needs. The role requires in-depth knowledge of acupuncture techniques, patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative wellness care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed consultations and assessments of patients to determine suitable acupuncture treatment plans.
  • Administer acupuncture therapy in line with clinical standards, safety protocols, and patient comfort.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with naturopathy, yoga, and other wellness departments to ensure integrated treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on acupuncture principles, benefits, and treatment expectations.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, modify treatment plans as needed, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Participate in wellness workshops, staff meetings, and continued learning programs.
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and sterilization protocols are consistently followed in the treatment areas.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Acupuncture / Acupuncture & Moxibustion / Traditional Medicine or equivalent (recognized by government/recognized council).
  • Valid license/registration (if applicable) to practice acupuncture in India.
  • Strong clinical knowledge with practical experience in therapeutic acupuncture.
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to holistic healing.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multi-disciplinary wellness professionals.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a wellness retreat, alternative medicine hospital, or integrative medical setting.
  • Additional knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine, cupping, moxibustion, or auricular acupuncture.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi for patient interaction.
