Job Location: Chennai

Working Arrangement: Work from Office

Title: Assembly Process Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Candidate must have work experience in Virtual Build validation, Time study, Torque Audit, Build Book creation

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Min 1 years in below technical skillset
  • Implement process/tool/equipment modifications to support Engineering Changes and Process Change requests

at Engine / Battery / chargers / Motors / Locomotives Assembly

  • Create/update manufacturing process documents – PFD, PFMEA, Safety FMEA, Control Plan, Standard Work and

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Configure and update Standard Work and Torque tools in the Manufacturing Execution Support system

(PINpoint/CAPP+/MESA)

  • Create/update process routing in SAP (CBS)
  • Conduct Engine/Loco Assembly/ Dis Assembly process audit. Work with cross functional team to resolve audit

findings within stipulated time

  • Conduct Ergonomic Study for Engine Assembly process, identify gaps and implement suitable solution to eliminate

ergonomic risks

  • Support continuous improvement drive by implementing improvement suggestions received from cross functional

team

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

SKILL REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN THIS JOB

  • Good in Assembly process
  • Must have work experience in Virtual Build validation, Time study, Torque Audit, Build Book creation., Team enter.
