Key Objectives of this Role: Delivery Management – Program Oversight – Architecture Excellence – Team & Financial Performance – Customer Focus – Process Optimizations. Key Performance Indicators: KPI for this role to ensure on time & high quality delivery of the Media Products, maintain the budget, resource efficency, to achieve the roadmap goals & Customer Satisfaction.

Key Year One Deliverables: Achieve measurable improvements in software quality & delivery.20 % reduction in defect density & zero slippage on delivery timeline.

Successfully manage the execution of at least 3 major Customer milestones. Drive & Implement a robust Architecture strategy for platforms & products that emphasizes scalability. Establish initiatives that improves Customer satisfactions, that leads to at least 10 % improvement in the feedback ratings.

Streamline the workflows, that reduces the delivery cycles by at least 15 %Improve Employee satisfaction in 2 identified areas by 20 %. Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Five (5) years of experience as an architect working on a complex (IVI / Mobile) embedded systems with advanced technologies like speech, networking, image processing, AI/ML, etc.
  • Experience in Multimedia, Radio (AM/FM/SXM/DAB/HD), Navigation, Projection (Android Auto, Carplay), Audio Framework, Voice, VPA, Interior/Exterior sensing (Camera)
  • Experience in Android audio stack components like Stagefright, OMX components, Audioflinger, AudioHAL, audio policy configurations
  • Good understanding Audio codec, A2B bus, USB audio and multimedia framework.
  • Experience with Android Multimedia System, GStreamer, Stagefright, Codec2,OpenMax
  • Domain knowledge and experience with Android systems including the application framework, native framework, and HAL and HIDL vendor implementation
  • Google Automotive Services, Car services, Display - Surfaceflinger, Graphics, multimedia Frameworks
  • Mobile and multimedia software development as well as cutting-edge video streaming technologies such as audio/video codecs (AVC, HEVC, AAC, AC-3), DRM (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady), media frameworks (gstreamer, openMAX, iOS AV), streaming technologies (DASH, HLS, SmoothStreaming) and media container formats.
  • Camera Sensors, ISP, Image quality, Camera Calibration and interface components like CSI, Serializers/Deserializers.
  • Experience in Smartphone Projection Technologies for Infotainment Head Units (CarPlay/Carlife/SDL/Android Auto/Mirrorlink/Miracast/DLNA)
  • Knowledge in Video/Audio interfaces for decoding and rendering/Playback (GStreamer, QNX screen, OpenGL, OpenSLes, ALSA)
