Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role for an Assistant Librarian located in Baran. The Assistant Librarian will manage day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloging and organizing resources, managing metadata, assisting users in research and accessing library materials, and conducting instructional sessions for effective resource utilization. The role also involves ensuring the smooth functioning of library services and upholding high standards in maintaining the library's resources.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Library Services and Library Science
• Knowledge of Metadata and Library Management for effective cataloging and organization
• Experience in Library Instruction and user education
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist library users effectively
• A Master's degree in Library Science or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Familiarity with modern library technologies and digital resource management is an advantage
