SAP BTP Developer (5+ Years Experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer with a strong background in SAPs cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and integrating SAP solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using modern SAP technologies such as CPI, Workflow, and CAP.

You will work on end-to-end SAP BTP projects, participate in presales and proof-of-concept activities, and collaborate closely with clients to design and deliver innovative, cloud-based SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate, and extend applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP or non-SAP systems.
  • Participate in presales activities, including requirement reviews, preparing technical solutions, proofs of concept (PoCs), and assisting in high-level estimations.
  • Contribute as a backend developer in full-cycle SAP BTP development projects.
  • Create and present technical design diagrams, perform task estimation, and conduct technical investigations to identify optimal solutions.
  • Work closely with functional and business teams to understand client needs and translate them into scalable technical implementations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP features and services, and actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and meetups.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, with strong exposure to cloud-based solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the Cloud Foundry environment and BTP subaccount/service management.
  • Proficiency in modern SAP technologies: SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Workflow, and Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model.
  • At least a basic understanding of the ABAP Environment on BTP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and secure cloud solutions.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and performing effort estimations.
  • Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP API Management, Event Mesh, or SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins).
  • Prior experience in presales or client-facing technical roles.
