We are seeking an
experienced Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

developer to help us scale our Multi-Platform app across POS, kiosks, and customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable applications for Hashmato's POS, Kiosk, and Queue systems.

  • Build and maintain shared codebases using
    Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

for cross-platform use cases.

  • Collaborate with backend and product teams to integrate cloud-based configurations, APIs, and real-time data flows.

  • Ensure applications are memory-efficient, robust, and optimized for performance on diverse hardware (including two-sided kiosk hardware).

  • Implement best practices for modular architecture, clean code, and test-driven development (TDD).

  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring zero downtime and smooth user experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on App development experience

with proven projects in production.

  • Strong expertise in
    Kotlin & Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, MVVM/MVI architectures.

  • Experience with
    offline-first applications, SQLite/PostgreSQL integrations

, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

  • Proficiency in building apps optimized for different screen sizes, kiosk hardware, and multi-display environments.

  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines

, Play Store deployments, and version management.

  • Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, startup-like environments.

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

Knowledge of
restaurant tech, POS systems, or embedded Android apps

Exposure to DevOps practices (Docker, IIS, Nginx, Cloudflare).
