About Businessline/Function
CIB Client Engagement and Protection IT having focus on applications servicing Client Lifecycle management, Due Diligence /KYC , Customer Relation Management, Service Request Management, Referential and Data Quality, PreTrade Transaction Screening, Data and Document platforms and Anti-Money Laundering. Technologies being used include Java, .NET, Angular, Informatica, sharepoint, Python, Scala, Spark, PowerBI, Fenergo, Siebel, Actimize, Camunda, Drools on private cloud infrastructure. Agile and DevSecOps practices are widely used. Landscape includes projects that are a mix of established and some under transition to new platforms.

Position Purpose

Overall 12-15 years of experience as a SR Project Manager in delivery of IT Projects and preferably in the area of Data Platforms. To be able to provide CIB's business line with IT services enabling them by industrializing the processes for Data Platform.

The Technical Architect should have key skills as mentioned below:

1- Strong experience to manage the end to end cycle, knowledge on Financial Market is an advantage

2 Good experience in the areas of Python, SQL server in terms of data base design, performance improvement, SQL, PowerBI

3- Participate in Design / Architecture discussions in building new systems, Frameworks and Components

4- Sound knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban)

• Track Technology Obsolescence Management plan for CEP teams.
• Lead automation and guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reduce recursive manual efforts
• Keep up-to-date with latest technologies, trends and provide inputs, expertise and recommendations.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Strong knowledge about design patterns and development principles.
• Inclination and prior experience of working across SQL, Python, Spark and Pyspark.
• Good Knowledge and experience in SQL, Python, Spark and Pyspark, Python Frameworks, Restful APIs, MS-SQL or Oracle, numpy, pandas, SQL/noSQL, Elastic search.
• Good Knowledge and experience to use Python packages such as Scikit learn, MatPlotib, NumPy, etc. Cleaning up of Data, Data Wrangling, Analysis of Data, Visualization of Data, User Authorization and Authentication.
• Experience in Security topics such as IDP, SSO, IAM and related technologies.
• Good knowledge on Linux/Unix environment (basic commands, shell scripting, etc.)
• Some experience of working with build tools like Maven & DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps.
• Development experience in Data Engineering environment.
• Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools).
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
• Good communication and co-ordination skills.
• Review the Design and optimize data models for financial products, transactions, non-financial risk metrics, and financial reports.
• Contribute to the end-to-end architecture and lifecycle management of financial data platforms, from ingestion to consumption.
• Manage the delivery for Data Services via a core platform.
• Effectively manages and leads the largest and / or highest risk projects to ensure completion and significant impact on client KPIs.
• Implement best practices for data lineage tracking (Collibra, Data catalogs, Data lineage tools), metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
• Manage complex data ingestion pipelines sourcing from market data providers, custodians, and internal systems & platforms.
• Oversee data classification, retention, and masking (PII and financial data).
• Builds and preserves credibility and trust with internal clients.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to deliver trusted data for regulatory filings, risk reporting, and front-office analytics.
• Manage and mentor data engineers and developers.
• Act as key liaison between onshore, nearshore & ISPL teams.

• Good knowledge on front-end technologies preferably Angular.
