Team: R&D / Robotics Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of robotic enclosures, brackets, and precision mounting of mechanical components.
  • Carry out wiring and integration of electronic subsystems including sensors, actuators, controllers, and power systems.
  • Solder and assemble PCBs, connectors, and cable harnesses for both power and signal circuits.
  • Use test instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) for validation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct basic electrical and mechanical tests  continuity, voltage, current, and insulation checks.
  • Assist in prototype builds, field deployments, and on-site testing of robotic platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of wiring diagrams, test results, and component inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineers on rapid prototyping, debugging, and iterative improvement of hardware systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety and lab best practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, or hardware assembly.
  • Proficient in wiring, soldering, crimping, and mechanical fitting.
  • Basic understanding of DC systems, motor drivers, sensors, and embedded electronics.
  • Familiarity with tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, and power analyzer.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in robotics labs or product prototyping environments.
  • Exposure to field testing and hardware troubleshooting in outdoor/agricultural settings is a plus.
