Summary: 

SAP Ariba is the world's business commerce network. We help companies extend their business commerce processes into the Cloud, where they can use our Procurement solutions and the SAP Ariba Network to find opportunities to cut costs, reduce risk, and grow revenue through better collaboration with trading partners. The SAP Ariba Analytics Product provides a platform with a super-rich analytics data insights to customers, to help them run the B2B process in a better way with sustainable savings and to simplify the procurement process. We are looking for experienced Big Data developers to drive the design, architecture, and implementation of next generation analytics of SAP Ariba Prism project

The role :

•    To work on design and development of Nexus Analytics application

•    To work on Java, Python based microservices and spark job data processing.

•    To work on big data, real time data processing and deliver end to end solution

•    To work in agile mode with highly talented team members

•    To work on cross-functions for handling high performance concurrent processing

•    To be a team player with "can-do" attitude and take ownership on assigned activities

•    To constantly be able to improve work methods and engineering skills in the team and beyond to establish state-of-the-art agile software engineering practices. 

Role requirements:

•    Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 11+ years of experience in developing production grade software with strong knowledge of design and architecture topics.

•    Excellent understanding of Core Java, J2EE, Python, Spring boot, Spark and Microservice architectures

•    Proven experience in Large Scale and Bigdata technologies like Spark, Cassandra or equivalent

•    Knowledge on AWS management, Delta lake, Hyper scalar storage is a plus

•    Proven experience of building a commercial product development environment

•    Understanding of Architectural Constructs(Architecture & Design patterns, Database systems, Performance tuning, Webservices)

•    Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles. Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
