Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong technical and functional skills to manage system configurations, enhancements, and support across SAP SD processes. The role involves working closely with ABAP developers, handling IDoc/interface issues, debugging functional specs, and ensuring robust integration across SAP modules and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure SAP SD module: Sales orders, pricing procedures, delivery types, billing types, output determination, and credit management.
  • Work on complex functional specifications for custom developments involving user exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of production issues, analyze dumps/logs, and collaborate with ABAP team for resolution.
  • Support EDI/IDoc processing for sales orders, invoices, ASN, and credit/debit memos; monitor and troubleshoot inbound/outbound IDocs.
  • Perform system integration testing and regression testing during change requests, upgrades, and transport movements.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to third-party sales, intercompany sales, returns processing, and consignment processes.
  • Develop or review technical documentation (FS, TS), test scripts, and configuration guides.
  • Coordinate with BASIS and PI/PO team for interface issues or middleware-based integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferably on-premise).
  • Working knowledge of SAP Fiori SD applications.
  • Exposure to BRF+ for output management (S/4HANA).

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • SAP SD certification is a plus.
