Purpose of the Job:

Lead – Broadband Core Planning & Delivery, B1, Gurgaon

Key Deliverables:

  • Experience in Broadband Core Domain, capable of evolving broadband solutions @ airtel across both Mobile and Fixed line domains
  • Capacity Planning of Broadband Core Nodes (e.g. BNG, AAA, PCRF, LDAP, DNS, NAT, LI, TR69, EMS/NMS etc)
  • Depth knowledge of Capacity, Incident, Problem, Change, Performance, Process & Compliance Mgmt
  • Proficient in managing, maintenance & expansion of core network and services
  • Understanding of Hardware and software Knowledge of Juniper, Nokia, Cisco, F5, DELL, HP etc.
  • Planning testing and integration with multi-vendor equipment for any new services in core network
  • Monitoring of network node utilization/capacity KPIs/signaling links utilization & control
  • AOP inputs for Broadband Core infra/capacity requirement
  • Prepare the Solution Document & High / Low Level Design for new core nodes
  • Delivery & Deployment of new project, network integration and handover to operations
  • Working with partners for core critical outage RCA, BUG fix, SW upgrade & design improvement
  • Responsible for DOT compliance implementation & facilitate network audits along with finding closure
  • Conducted performance and stress testing of the network and security components to ensure effective information systems security.
  • Responsible for designing, automation and Implementation of new work flows to improve service and network KPIs along with customer services experience.
  • Network optimization, Traffic/Trend analysis & SOW.
  • Co-ordination with NOC/transport teams for CEN/MPLS/ISP augmentation and optimization
  • Coordination with NOC teams for all the Core reports format and generation
  • Support for various activities like core capacity sign-off, nodes relocation planning, network version roadmap planning
  • Assessing KPI & SLA for service uptime by redundancy planning and business continuity process
  • Preparing the disaster recovery plan for DR readiness
  • Source Data Preparation for new core deployments
  • Strong Partner Management

Qualification & Key skills/ competencies:

B.Tech

Should have experience in Broadband and CS Core Planning/Performance/Operations (8-10 Years)
