We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage and oversee key accounting functions such as sales and collection reconciliation, vendor payments, ledger maintenance, and accounting software operations (Tally, etc.). The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, support timely payments and collections, and help maintain a strong internal control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Collection Reconciliation:

  • Daily reconciliation of sales data with collections from customers.
  • Ensure all receipts are properly accounted for and matched with sales invoices.
  • Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to resolve discrepancies in collection data.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly collection reconciliation reports.

2. Tally Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in Tally ERP or Tally Prime.
  • Ensure proper recording of all accounting transactions.
  • Generate financial statements and reports using Tally.

3. Vendor Payments:

  • Process vendor invoices after verification and approvals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors as per agreed terms.
  • Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and store teams for GRNs, POs, and invoice matching.

4. Ledger Reconciliation:

  • Regular reconciliation of ledger accounts (customer, vendor, bank, etc.).
  • Identify and rectify errors in ledgers and provide necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain audit-ready ledgers and documentation.

5. Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS workings, and other statutory compliance.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing necessary data and reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
  • Provide MIS reports as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce.
  • 3–5 years of experience in core accounting roles.
  • Experience in reconciliation-heavy roles, especially in sales-driven businesses.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GST/TDS regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
