Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive/off highway components and subsystem development.

Responsibility :

Design and develop mechanical components(expertise in modules like Part, Sheetmetal, Assembly & Drawing) using Creo CAD tools.

Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes

Experience on Design & development of mechanical parts and sub-systems of Automotive / Agriculture & Off highway products.

Experience with PLM systems (Preferred Windchill).

Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Able to work on concept designs, DFM and DFA.

Coordinate small-scale design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Off highway industry knowledge such as Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Excavator, Skid Steer Loader etc.

Generative design and topology optimization and Design automation and simulation.

Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and design for manufacturability.
