Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Trainee
to join our team and develop hands-on experience in information technology. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world IT projects. Under the guidance of senior team members, the IT Trainee will assist with system support, troubleshooting, software installation, documentation, and various IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end users
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications
  • Monitor system performance and report irregularities or potential issues
  • Help maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and logs
  • Participate in ongoing IT projects, including system upgrades, network improvements, and security initiatives
  • Provide technical support via email, phone, or in person
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and best practices for IT operations and security
  • Continuously learn new technologies and tools to support organizational needs

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work well within a team

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
