We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician to support the development, testing, and quality control of construction chemical products such as admixtures, waterproofing compounds, grouts, sealants, and surface treatments. The ideal candidate will conduct chemical and physical tests, maintain lab records, and assist in the R&D and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to internal procedures
  • Support in formulation development and performance evaluation of construction chemicals.
  • Prepare chemical reagents and solutions as per testing requirements.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments
  • Document all test results accurately and maintain proper lab records.
  • Ensure proper sample handling, labelling, and storage.
  • Assist in product development trials and pilot batching for new product formulations.
  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
  • Ensure product quality and performance consistency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry.
  • Familiarity with construction chemicals and their applications is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in chemical analysis and instrumental techniques.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Good documentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
