Role & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams to ensure database solutions align with business needs and IoT system architectures.
  • Define and implement database strategies, standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement data replication, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
  • Monitor database performance and proactively address bottlenecks or potential failures.
  • Establish SLAs for uptime, data integrity, and recovery time objectives (RTO/RPO).

Preferred candidate profile

8+ years of hands-on experience in database administration, including 3+ years in a managerial or team lead role.

Solid understanding of data governance, data lifecycle management, and IoT data pipelines.
