Core responsibilities

  • Lead implementations: Drive the full lifecycle of SAP IBP implementations, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Translate business needs: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective system designs and configurations.
  • Manage projects: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide expertise: Offer subject matter expertise in various SAP IBP modules, such as demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP planning.
  • Train and mentor: Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support, as well as mentoring junior team members.
  • Ensure data integrity: Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the IBP system.
  • Continuous improvement: Stay updated on SAP IBP enhancements and best practices to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Technical skills: Deep knowledge of SAP IBP configuration, with experience in modules like Demand Planning and Supply Planning. Experience with non-SAP data integration tools like CPI is a plus.
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead project teams and guide clients through implementations.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve complex business and system issues.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Process knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in SAP functional consulting or a similar role, with a focus on supply chain planning and IBP.
