UX/UI Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in UI/UX design principles, proficiency in design tools like Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, and a passion for creating seamless and intuitive user experiences. You will be responsible for designing high-quality user interfaces, creating wireframes, prototypes, and conducting UX research to ensure a user-centered approach in all design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI Design & Prototyping:

• Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive UI designs.
• Develop interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Design mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Implement autolayout techniques in Figma for responsive design.

1. UX Research & Strategy:

• Conduct UX research including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and pain points.
• Develop user personas and empathy maps to represent key user segments and their motivations.
• Analyze research data to inform design decisions and ensure the final product meets user expectations.
• Create information architecture, site maps, and user journey maps to ensure clarity in the user experience.

1. Wireframing & Interaction Design:

• Design wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to iterate on design concepts quickly and effectively.
• Create clear, functional, and accessible interaction flows to ensure a seamless user journey.
• Develop detailed specifications for developers, ensuring proper design implementation.

1. Design Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other designers to ensure the alignment of design goals with business objectives.
• Communicate design concepts, ideas, and rationale effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Participate in design critiques and give and receive constructive feedback to improve design solutions.

1. Color Theory & Visual Design:

• Apply color theory and visual design principles to create aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces.
• Develop consistent and cohesive design systems to maintain uniformity across platforms.
• Ensure design accessibility standards are met to provide inclusive user experiences.

1. User Journey & Experience Optimization:

• Map user journeys to identify friction points and optimize the overall user experience.
• Collaborate on refining user flows and wireframes based on insights gathered from research and testing.
• Continuously improve the design by analyzing user feedback and metrics.

1. Documentation & Handoff:

• Maintain and document design systems, patterns, and guidelines for consistency across design projects.
• Provide clear design specifications and assets to the development team for implementation.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Design Tools: Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, and other design tools for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Strong experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs.
• Color Theory & Visual Design: In-depth knowledge of color theory, typography, and visual design principles.
• User Research & Testing: Solid understanding of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and user feedback analysis.
• Information Architecture: Experience in creating information architectures, sitemaps, and user journey maps.
• Empathy & User-Centered Design: Ability to understand user needs, pain points, and goals through empathy maps and user personas.
• Autolayout & Responsive Design: Proficiency in using autolayout and designing for various screen sizes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting pixel-perfect designs.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and take ownership of design projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in UX writing or content strategy is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in agile environments or with agile methodologies.
