We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with hands-on expertise in .NET 8, Azure cloud services, and Cosmos DB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications while leveraging modern cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using .NET 8 and modern frameworks.
  • Work with Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.) to build cloud-native applications.
  • Design and optimize data models using Azure Cosmos DB with strong knowledge of partitioning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, secure, and optimized for cloud performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in .NET and Azure ecosystem to recommend best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in C# with hands-on experience in .NET 6/7/8.
  • Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage, API Management).
  • Deep understanding of Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API, partitioning, consistency models, stored procedures).
  • Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Azure Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, Managed Identity, Key Vault).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other data integration services.
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging queues.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL vs SQL database design trade-offs.
  • Understanding of performance tuning for large-scale distributed applications.

Education

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
