Senior Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
2. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans.
3. Interpret project specifications, designs, and instructions from engineers and architects.
4. Modify and update drawings based on feedback and revisions.
5. Ensure drawings meet technical specifications and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.
7. Maintain drawing logs, version control, and file management systems.
8. Conduct site visits when required to collect measurements or verify drawings.
9. Mentor and guide junior draughtsman and provide quality checks for team outputs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit.
• Sound knowledge of drawing standards, layouts, and detailing.
• Excellent technical drawing interpretation and drafting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to enable team coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Willingness to strive towards achieving timelines.
