About the Role:-

Designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs for VoIP, VoLTE and WCDMA services.

Responsibilities:-

  • Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

  • Monitoring performance and ensuring system availability and reliability

  • Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

  • Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

  • Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

  • Selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team

  • Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

  • Providing IP network support of new and existing services and features.

  • Troubleshooting IP network problems quickly and helping provide sound engineering solutions by maintaining deep knowledge of Data Network architecture, topology, and up-to-date configuration details.

  • Documenting engineering solutions in accordance to in-house standards including but not limiting to the following documents: Detailed Engineering Requirements, Detailed Reference Design, and Detailed Integration Test Plan documents.

  • On-Call 24x7 rotation

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:-

  • Master/Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math degree or equivalent work experience. (CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)

  • In depth understanding of IP networking including routing protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)

  • Working knowledge of IP network QoS technology (DiffServ, RSVP, Queuing, and

Traffic Policing).

  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model

  • Working knowledge of IP network security support including Firewalls and NAT

implementations.

  • Working knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, RTP, RTCP.

  • Working knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, Cisco PIX or ASA Firewalls.
