The Director - FP&A is a key position within the Finance Division. This role works closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision making and to deliver measurable impact on Group profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills along with a deep understanding of margin management in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive informed decision-making through providing insightful analysis and identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for margin optimization
  • Lead the delivery of compelling senior level messaging and analysis to stakeholders across the business, including the Executive Committee and the Board
  • Drive future margin through the setting of clear financial targets aligned to group strategic objectives
  • Partner with Divisional and Functional CFOs and Financial Control to ensure accuracy and alignment of reporting and actionable future planning
  • Drive FP&A and cross-Finance initiatives and outcomes as they emerge, providing vision and influencing strategic decision making
  • Offer leadership across the wider finance team to optimise data visualisation and performance insights, and drive adoption of best practice approaches
  • Manage and mentor junior FP&A staff, fostering their professional growth and development, whilst promoting a high-performance culture

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant experience in a variety of finance leadership roles, including senior FP&A experience, ideally in a global matrixed organisation
  • History of providing strategic thought leadership, partnering, and influencing senior finance & business stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, simplify complex concepts, and foster innovative thinking to create what best looks like for the organisation
  • Ability to take initiative and contribute to evolving business priorities to drive change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Degree qualified and accounting certification (CPA, CA etc.) and / or MBA
