Job Description:

The Social Media Executive is responsible for managing the hotels social media presence, creating engaging content, and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive bookings. This role involves content creation, social media management, online reputation monitoring, and collaboration with various teams to promote the hotels offerings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage daily posting schedules and ensure consistency in brand messaging.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Content Creation & Marketing:

  • Create high-quality and engaging content, including images, videos, reels, and blog posts.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote hotel services, offers, and events.
  • Work closely with the photography and design team to create visually appealing content.
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and descriptions optimized for engagement.

Advertising & Promotions:

  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
  • Target the right audience through Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Google Ads.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments for better ROI.

Online Reputation Management:

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and OTA sites.
  • Address customer feedback and escalate issues to the concerned departments.
  • Maintain a positive brand image through proactive engagement.

Collaboration & Influencer Marketing:

  • Partner with influencers, bloggers, and travel enthusiasts to promote the hotel.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies for social media collaborations and brand partnerships.
  • Work with other departments (Sales, F&B, Events) to align promotional efforts.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversions).
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Use data to refine content strategies and improve performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and creative skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing software.
  • Experience in running paid advertising campaigns on social media.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
