Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise of 6+ years in WebDriverIO to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and test automation, with a focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriverIO/selenium to ensure the quality of web applications.
  • Able to implement in API automation / Mobile or web automation using browser stack tools
  • Reports implementations using extent reports / html5 / cucumber or any other reporting tools
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and create robust test plans.
  • Develop and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and code quality.
  • Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Monitor and maintain test environments and test data.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and software development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Javascript and Java, or Python.
  • Expertise in using WebDriverIO/Cucumber for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure, Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in test automation or related areas.
  • Experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
