The Senior QA Automation Engineer Role

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving automation strategies that ensure the quality, stability, and consistency of our core business applications. You'll have the opportunity to combine advanced scripting expertise with no-code automation tools and experiment with AI-powered testing innovations that push the boundaries of what's possible.

• Work with emerging AI-powered testing solutions – leverage AI/LLM agents to auto-generate test scripts, optimize regression coverage, and enhance test efficiency.
• Hands-on with modern automation tools – gain exposure to no-code platforms like ACCELQ and Qualitia, combined with traditional coding frameworks to create the perfect hybrid testing strategy.
• Be part of Agile innovation – embed test automation directly within sprints to speed up delivery while maintaining quality.
• End-to-end ownership – from designing test suites to integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gearset), you'll have full visibility and control.
• Collaborate across teams – partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align testing with business goals and deliver impactful solutions.
• Shape the future of automation – design and maintain advanced automation frameworks, reducing manual testing efforts and accelerating release cycles.
• Champion quality at scale – ensure seamless, high-quality releases of mission-critical business applications like Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Introduce next-gen testing strategies – explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, enhance coverage, and optimize defect detection.
• Be a trusted partner – work closely with cross-functional teams to influence testing priorities and help solve complex business challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement – measure automation effectiveness, identify gaps, and bring innovative ideas to elevate Qlik's QA function.

We're looking for a teammate with:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with both script-based tools (e.g., Selenium, Python) and no-code platforms such as ACCELQ and/or Qualitia.
• Strong domain knowledge of Salesforce (Apex, Lightning) and NetSuite (SuiteScript, workflows, or saved searches).
• Experience implementing and managing test automation frameworks for enterprise platforms like Salesforce and NetSuite, developing end-to-end test automation scripts involving multiple complex systems to attain seamless experience for customers using the process/product.
• Familiarity with AI agents (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) and how they can support testing, such as script generation, test optimization, and smart validation.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices, test planning, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr).
• Certifications in Salesforce or NetSuite platforms (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer, NetSuite ERP Consultant).
• Exposure to prompt engineering or building/testing GenAI-powered features.
• Experience with performance testing, load testing (JMeter), or security testing frameworks.
