Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using React Native and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
  • Build high-performance mobile apps for both Android and iOS platforms
  • Implement responsive UI/UX designs and ensure optimal user experience
  • Integrate mobile applications with backend services and RESTful APIs
  • Develop and maintain reusable components and libraries
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and user engagement
  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices
  • Participate in mobile architecture planning and technical discussions
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers
  • Handle app store submissions and deployment processes
  • Monitor app performance and implement crash reporting solutions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications
  • Follow best practices for mobile security and data protection

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

Minimum 3 years of mobile app development experience
- Framework:

Strong expertise in React Native for cross-platform development
- Programming Languages:

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Mobile Platforms:

Experience with Android and iOS app development lifecycle
- State Management:

Extensive experience with Redux or Context API
- API Integration:

Proven experience in integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Native Development:

Understanding of native modules and bridge communication
- Version Control:

Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Problem Solving:

Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Communication:

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with native Android development or iOS development
  • Knowledge of and web development fundamentals
  • Understanding of Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions)
  • Experience with push notifications and real-time messaging
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, Appium)
  • Experience with app store optimization and publishing processes
  • Knowledge of mobile analytics and crash reporting tools (Crashlytics, Sentry)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
  • Experience with Expo framework and React Native CLI
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and database concepts
