Model Institute of Engineering & Technology is seeking a motivated and experienced Sports Assistant to support our sports department in organizing, managing, and enhancing sports activities, events, and tournaments for students, staff, and faculty. The Sports Assistant will play a key role in the coordination and execution of sports programs, events, and tournaments within the institution.  Key Responsibilities: Event Coordination: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing sports events, competitions, and tournaments, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.Program Management: Support the development and management of recreational and competitive sports programs for students, including scheduling and promoting activities.Administrative Support: Handle registrations, communicate with participants, and maintain records related to sports activities and events.Facility Management: Ensure that sports facilities are properly maintained and prepared for events and activities, and coordinate equipment needs.Team Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, student leaders, and external vendors to ensure high -quality sports programs and events.Promotion & Communication: Assist in marketing and promoting sports programs through digital platforms, flyers, and campus communication channels.Support for Teams and Participants: Provide on -the -ground assistance during events, including coordinating volunteers, managing logistics, and addressing participants' needs.Monitoring & Reporting: Track attendance, participant feedback, and performance metrics for continuous improvement of sports programs. RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.Prior experience (1 -2 years) in organizing, managing, or assisting with sports events, tournaments, or recreational programs, preferably in a higher education institution.Familiarity with organizing large -scale events, including coordination, logistics, and communications.
