About the Opportunity

Hiring for a leading organization in the Enterprise IT Services & SAP consulting sector that delivers SAP infrastructure, managed BASIS operations and security governance across large enterprise landscapes. This is an on-site opportunity in India for an experienced SAP Basis & Security Consultant to manage, harden and optimise multi-system SAP environments.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SAP Basis operations for ECC/S/4, including installation, system provisioning, kernel upgrades, patching and transport landscape management.
  • Administer SAP HANA and underlying databases: performance tuning, backups/restores, system copy and refresh activities.
  • Design, implement and maintain SAP security controls: role design, authorization management, Segregation of Duties (SoD), GRC Access Control and remediation workflows.
  • Integrate and operate identity services (SSO/LDAP) and SAP Identity Management solutions to enforce secure authentication and lifecycle management.
  • Operate SAP Solution Manager, manage change control (CTS/CTS+), coordinate with development and infrastructure teams, and execute incident/problem resolution for production systems.
  • Develop runbooks, hardening guidelines and automation for routine tasks; perform vulnerability remediation, compliance checks and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.

  • Experience working on-site in India with cross-functional infra, network and application teams.
  • Relevant certifications or training in SAP Basis, HANA or SAP security technologies are a plus.
