About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have completed training or possess basic hands-on experience in Selenium, XPath, and Cucumber (BDD Framework), with a strong interest in building automation skills and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 01 year of experience in Software Testing or Automation.
  • Hands-on knowledge or formal training in:
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • XPath
  • Cucumber (BDD Framework)
  • Java/Python scripting
  • Basic understanding of TestNG / JUnit, locators, and browser automation.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (BDD framework).
  • Create and maintain feature files, step definitions, and reusable automation components.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect management process.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to validate software functionality.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and functional testing.
  • Continuously enhance automation coverage and maintain existing scripts.
  • Learn and implement automation best practices, frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
