Please note that this is a shift-based position (12-hour shifts which include days and nights inclusive of weekends). A competitive basic salary shift allowances and benefits package provided

Our Fermoy, Ireland, facility is FDA registered and certified to ISO ISO13485:2016 for the manufacture of high-quality PCBAs, subassemblies and complete devices up to and including Class III medical devices. Sanmina Fermoys core specialization is manufacturing automation. We provide services for the entire product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI), prototyping and process validation to complex volume manufacturing & test, shipping and repair. We create a state-of-the-art environment for manufacturing medical and other high-quality devices. • Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
• Stores the right amount of materials, goods and products in the right location to feed the businesss operational and customer demand.

• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
• Receive delivery of goods and supplies
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Store goods appropriately
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch
• Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
• Load goods for dispatch
• Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
• Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerized system
• Keep accurate stock records
• Carry out stock counts as and when required
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with safe manual handling procedures
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
• Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value

Measurements will be tracked against plant metrics and MBOs tracked as per the annual appraisal process.

ESSENTIAL:

• Leaving Cert
• Computer literate
• Good numerical/literacy skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
• Balanced and confident
• Team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Is self-aware, resilient, optimistic and open to change
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
• Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security

DESIRABLE:

• Forklift license
• Oracle experience
• Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Previous Warehouse experience
