Dear Candidate,

we are hiring for the position Safety Officer.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Safety Officer with 34 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety audits, training staff, and implementing effective safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the plant.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to identify causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain accurate records related to workplace injuries, incidents, and safety compliance.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–4 years* of proven experience as a Safety Officer in a manufacturing or chemical plant*.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations (e.g., OSHA, Factory Act).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH (preferred).

Compensation:

Annual CTC: 4 – 5 Lakhs (depending on experience and qualifications
