About the role

Orica is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management Specialist to join our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you will design and deliver SAP TM solutions that support our global supply chain operations. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with Orica's strategic objectives.

What you will be doing

• Translate business requirements into solution designs and technical specifications.
• Configure and develop SAP TM applications, ensuring quality, security, and sustainability.
• Manage product releases, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support to operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for application design and configuration.

What you will bring

• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in IT applications and SAP, with strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA TM with preferred skills in LE, SD, MM.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end TM processes, freight planning strategies, Logistics integration profiles, carrier planning strategies , charge calculations, etc
• Experience in Freight Bookings , cost distributions, freight settlement postings in sales/purchasing shipment processes
• Experience with integration of TM with GTS, event management, weighbridge solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
